Description of the study programme
The study programme facilitates a continuation of education and specialisation after a completed three-year professional study programme at the Libertas Business School, or after completing relevant undergraduate professional study programmes at other higher education institutions.
The specialist study programme educates students in all areas of domestic and international trade, i.e., enables them to perform organisation, preparation and contract of foreign trade arrangements, as well as jobs of strategic planning and management in domestic and international trade.
Students are educated in all management areas, with emphasis on key trade company functions: sales, procurement, warehousing, as well as organisation of other functions in order to meet the specific demands of a trade company.
Students also learn about the legal aspects of contracting international trade business, as well as the special aspects of e-commerce in international trade. They are familiarised with issues in project management as one on the fundamental tools in adjusting to the demands of a turbulent market. They also acquire knowledge on the significance, roles and tasks of total project management and support to the entrepreneurial business system. The programme offers training in modern approaches to strategic thinking, elaboration of internal system analysis and diagnosis of a company’s environment, as well as elaboration and high-quality implementation of a company’s strategy, considering that survival and profitability of a company are predominantly determined by its strategic orientation. Upon successful completion of the programme, the students will be able to apply the acquired knowledge and skills to a successful management of a modern business organisation.

- kreirati plan marketinškog istraživanja na domaćem i inozemnom tržištu
- razviti metode analiza utjecaja kriznog okruženja na trgovinu
- razviti projektne ciljeve i staviti u odnos projekt i postojeću organizacijsku strukturu poduzeća
- prezentirati strategije i taktike prodaje najvećih trgovaca u Hrvatskoj
