International Cooperation Office

The Office for International Cooperation Of Libertas University represents a key place of coordination and administration of all activities related to international cooperation of our University. The office holds a strategic and operational significance in promoting the internationalisation and international activities of our academic community. Our Office for international and inter-university cooperation actively promotes various forms of international activities, simultaneously spreading the reputation of our university worldwide.

Our mission is to ensure that each of our students has the opportunity to experience the wealth of international exchange and build bridges with colleagues worldwide.

Our rich experience and cooperation with renowned European institutions ensure a basis for student mobility through the Erasmus+ programme, owing to numerous agreements with partner institutions around Europe.

We strive to recognise all advantages of international student mobility and encourage our students to participate in various programmes offering chances for personal and academic development, among which we highlight the most popular and most significant Erasmus+ programme.

Project “Acquisition of CroQF Principles in the Higher Education System in the Tourism Sector”

Libertas Business School signed and agreement within the Call for the award of grants in the “Further Development and Implementation of the Croatian Qualifications Framework”. Thus, the project of the Libertas Business School “Acquisition of CroQF Principles in the Higher Education System in the Tourism Sector” was among 16 selected within the call for grants via IPA IV component Human Resource Development. The awarded grant was realised by Libertas Business School as the head of the project together with Međimurje University of Applied Sciences in Čakovec, University of Applied Sciences in Šibenik, Virovitica University of Applied Sciences and the Association of Employers in Croatian Hospitality in the duration of 18 months.

The goal of the project “Acquisition of CroQF Principles in the Higher Education System in the Tourism Sector” is to support the development and implementation of the Croatian Qualifications Framework by achieving specific objectives, The first relates to the development of qualification standards in the higher education in the tourism sector in cooperation with relevant stakeholders. The next specific objective relates to a complete alignment of tourism-related study programmes with the principles of the Croatian Qualifications Framework in the four higher education institutions. Moreover, one of the objectives is to introduce innovative educational elements into the education for hospitality and tourism management.

Bilateral Cooperation

We are proud to highlight that Libertas International University is achieving bilateral contacts with higher education institutions and universities abroad within mutually aligned and signed bilateral agreements, as well as implements the following forms of cooperation: activities on mutually agreed-upon topics, teaching staff exchange, student exchange, joint publishing, information exchange of mutual interest, conference organisation, research seminars and workshops and other activities aimed at promoting academic cooperation.

Bilateral agreements of Libertas International University can be made with any other university, based on the expressed student interest and correspondence of study programmes of the university.

Students who are interested in mobility outside of the EU (outside ERASMUS area), need to contact the head of the Career Centre directly.
