Erasmus+

The Erasmus+ programme encompasses all European and international programmes and initiatives of the EU in the area of education, traineeship, youth and sports.

 

Erasmus + connects 7 existing programmes: Lifelong learning programme (with Erasmus, Leonardo da Vinci, Comenius and Grundtvig subprogrammes), Youth in Action and 5 international cooperation programmes (Erasmus Mundus, Tempus, Alfa, Edulink and cooperation programme with industrialised countries and territories). The programme also introduces support to the area of sports for the first time. Erasmus+ is oriented toward strengthening knowledge and skills, and employability of European citizens, as well as professional training and work in the area of youth and sports.

A prerequisite to participating in the Erasmus+ programme is the Erasmus Charter for Higher Education (ECHE) granted to Libertas International University for the entire Erasmus+ duration (2021 – 2027).

To whom the programme is intended

The Erasmus+ programme invites participation from students, teachers and non-teaching staff.

Goals of the Erasmus+ programme

  • Encouraging mobility of students, teachers and administration staff
  • Strengthening cooperation among higher education institutions in Europe
  • Increasing the level of transparency and compatibility of qualifications in higher education
  • Developing innovative content based on ITC technology; developing services, pedagogical principles and practices important for lifelong learning

What activities are possible in the Erasmus+ programme

  • Student mobility for studying abroad or traineeship in companies, training centres, research centres or other institutions
  • Teacher mobility
  • Mobility of non-teaching staff
  • Preparatory visits (visits to partner institutions and companies)
