DAY 3 OF SPRING UNIVERSITY 2017: TRIP TO MOSTAR AND A LECTURE AT NDC MOSTAR WITH DIRECTOR ELVIR DULIMAN
On the third day of Spring University 2017 Week the roads took us to Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The main event was a lecture at the Nansen Dialogue Center held by the Director Elvir Duliman in which he explained the differences between a dialogue and a debate, how to hold a dialogue and come a few steps closer to the goal of reconciliation and cooperation. The specific case of Bosnia and Mostar on its own captivated the student that in the desire to hear more we spent another extra hour asking and answering questions. Special thanks to Elvir for being so nice and patient with our constant hand raising. After the lecture at NDC, we all spent a wonderful afternoon together in the Old Town of Mostar. As we were sightseeing, creating memories and absorbing the culture we couldn’t help but admire its diversity and enjoy the delicious homemade food followed by the indispensable and ravishing cup of Bosnian coffee.
