Libertas International University had the pleasure of welcoming the Assistant Vice Provost for Global Affairs at University of Connecticut, dr. Yuhang Rong and Mrs. Courtney Link, the Vice President of Academic Programs International from Austin, Texas.
The University of Connecticut is a highly ranked educational institution and Academic Programs International is one of most successful study abroad programs in United States. Both of these notable institutions have recognized the value and the quality of our programs in Dubrovnik which are conducted entirely in English. Moreover, they showed interest for implementing joint projects and activities that will be of a great importance, not only for our students but for the entire local community. In addition, during their visit to Libertas International University our respected guests met with the representatives of Student Center, Volunteer Center, as well as the City council where they were personally welcomed by City of Dubrovnik mayor, Mr. Andro Vlahušić. The mayor expressed his support to Libertas International University, as well as all of the other high education institutions in Dubrovnik while presenting the development strategy for the town in becoming the university center of the region.
