Another interesting lecture/discussion led by Lord Jack McConnell

On April 21, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. one of our instructors, Lord Jack McConnell is showing the movie about Malala Yousafzai „He named me Malala“  in his class International Security and Peace. The movie has been released last year and it is based on a real story. Malala Yousafzai is a fascinating young woman who serves as a role model to many across the world.  Her actions and efforts to advocate for girls’ education in Pakistan were recognized and she received the Nobel Peace Prize. We used this opportunity to invite all of our full time students and study abroad students to watch the movie together.

After the movie, the discussion between our students and Lord Jack McConnell is organized to give all the students an opportunity to learn about this extraordinary young woman and to deepen their knowledge about international affairs.  We especially recommend this movie to students in the courses Current Issues in International Affairs, International Organizations, Diplomacy, Introduction to International Relations and International Security and Peace.
