Transfer from another professional or university study programs
Libertas International University allows students from other universities and colleges to transfer into the first or second year of graduate studies. The program from which the student is transferring has to contain similar curriculum and course contents to our graduate program.
Upon graduating from the program, a title of Master of International Relations and Diplomacy is awarded. This degree gives our graduates an opportunity to apply for jobs at prestigious institutions in the country and abroad. In addition, it allows graduates to continue their education on the postgraduate level.
ADMISSION TO THE 1st YEAR OF STUDIES
The following students can enroll in the first year of graduate studies:
- Students with bachelor degrees who did not enroll in graduate program at any other educational institution
- Students who have enrolled into a first year of graduate program at other educational institutions, but wish to transfer to MA in International Relations and Diplomacy
Admission materials:
- Statement expressing student’s intention to transfer
- Student’s transcript/registry book (index)
- Transcript of records (original or a certified copy)
- Undergraduate studies diploma (original or a certified copy)
- Certificate of nationality (original or a certified copy)
- Birth certificate (original or a certified copy)
- Copy of a passport (for international students)
- Photo for a student transcript book (4×6 cm)
- Photo for the Register of Students (4×3 cm)
- Certification of payment of a non-refundable enrolment fee (100 Euros)

ADMISSION TO THE 2nd YEAR OF STUDIES (240 ECTS POINTS)
The following students can enroll in the second year of graduate studies:
a) Students who have completed at 180 ECTS points during their undergraduate studies and 30 ECTS points during their graduate studies
b) Students who have completed 240 ECTS points during their undergraduate studies
Additional requirement: these students have to successfully complete 3 first year courses: International Relations, Geopolitics, Negotiation and Conflict Resolution

ADMISSION TO THE 2nd YEAR OF STUDIES (300 ECTS POINTS)
Students who have completed professional graduate studies and wish to continue their education at Libertas International University are allowed to transfer to graduate program of International Relations and Diplomacy. In order to transfer, students have to successfully complete 5 courses and thesis.
Second year of studies is composed of the following:
a) 3rd semester with the following 5 mandatory courses:
- Quantitative and Qualitative Research Methods
- Multilateral Diplomacy
- International Security
- Ethics in International Relations
- International Trade
b) 4th semester includes writing thesis and thesis defense.
Upon graduating from the program, 120 ECTS points and a title of Master of International Relations and Diplomacy are awarded.
